TA Associates promotes seven

US-based TA Associates, has promoted seven members of its staff, effective January 1, 2010.

Among the promotions, that of J. Morgan Seigler who was made senior vice president. He serves in the London office focusing on investments in growth companies in Europe. Seigler played a significant role in TA’s investment in AVG Technologies. He serves on the board of AVG and M and M Direct.

The buyout firm also promoted Jennifer M. Mulloy to managing director in the firm’s Menlo Park office. In Boston, TA promoted four team members: M. Roy Burns,  Mark H. Carter and Hythem T. El-Nazer, who were all made principals,. While William D. Christ was promoted to senior vice president . Finally, Naveen Wadhera, head of the Indian operations and was appointed as director of TA Associates Advisory Pvt. Ltd.
