Herbert Smith bulks up PE team with new appointment
Law firm Herbert Smith has hired James MacArthur as partner to the firm's private equity practice.
MacArthur joins Herbert Smith from the London office of Kirkland & Ellis, where he was a partner in the corporate and private funds group. Prior to this, he worked for White & Case from 2002 to 2006, following time at Herbert Smith.
