Weinberg Capital Partners acquires CMFT
Weinberg Capital Partners-backed Climater has acquired Bordeaux-based group CMFT Heating, a company specialised in industrial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC).
The acquisition was financed through bank debt and a capital increase subscribed by all shareholders and several Climater key executives.
With the acquisition of CMFT, the combined entity will have sales in excess of €100m, which represents a 20% increase compared with 2012.
The CMFT acquisition is part of Climater's external growth strategy; it is designed to consolidate its presence in the Bordeaux area and increase the weight of its maintenance activity, accounting for circa 20% of CMFT's sales.
A year ago, Climater acquired another company in Bordeaux and one in Montpellier.

Founded in 1987 and based in Bordeaux, CMFT has developed three core fields of expertise: industrial HVAC, HVAC maintenance and electricity.
The company's customer base comprises large industrial groups as well as service companies operating in the Aquitaine region. It has increased its sales in the past three years and reached a €10m turnover in 2012.
