
Karmijn Kapitaal makes first investment
Karmijn Kapitaal, formerly Juneau Private Equity, has made its first investment in Dutch Mediterranean food company Enrico BV.
Nico Richard, co-founder, is selling his stake in the company to Karmijn and the current management.
Company
Enrico is a wholesale distributor of Mediterranean food products in the Netherlands. The company was founded in 1992.
The firm distributes its products via supermarkets and wholesalers. The product range includes Spanish and Italian food.
People
Hadewych Cels, co-founder, led the investment on behalf of Karmijn Kapitaal. Co-founder Richard Peper will remain commercial director and Saskia Geraeds will be chairman of the firm.
