Vendis invests in Victoria Group
Retail and consumer brand-focused investor Vendis Capital has acquired Victoria Group, a Belgian jewellery designer.
The fresh capital and support from Vendis will allow Victoria to pursue the internationalisation of its brand and to integrate its French business, which has until now been part-owned by private investors.
The company will initially focus on growth in its existing markets - Belgium and France - before expanding into new geographies, said Vendis partner Cédric Olbrechts.
Company
Founded in 1991, Victoria is headquartered in Brussels with a French office in Roubaix. The company designs, produces and distributes jewellery for men, women and children. The collection includes rings, bracelets, earrings, necklaces and pendants.
People
Françoise Kaisin is the founder of Victoria. Vendis partner Olbrechts, investment manager Mathieu de Medeiros and associate Joris Van Troos worked on the deal for the firm and will join Victoria's board of directors following the acquisition.
