
Elbrus Capital acquires Intercomp
Russian private equity firm Elbrus Capital has acquired business support services provider Intercomp.
Moscow-based Elbrus currently manages two funds with overall assets of $700m. The firm's second fund received a $20m commitment from World Bank investment arm International Financing Corporation and a $50m capital commitment from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Elbrus, which launched in 2010 after spinning out from Renaissance, currently holds 11 companies in its portfolio.

Intercomp provides clients with financial and HR support services in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. The firm currently has around 700 clients.
In Russia, the firm has offices in Moscow, St Petersburg, Ryazan and Nizhny Novgorod, which is Intercomp's most recently opened branch.

Sergey Buchin is Intercomp's CEO. Alexander Savin is managing partner at Elbrus.
