
DN Capital and HTGF give cash boost to baby care website
High-Tech Grunderfonds and DN Capital have teamed up to invest in a baby care speciality website which is scheduled to launch this month.
The venture investors were joined by several business angels and company managers to provide financing for windeln.de, which expects to sell more than 3,300 maternity products.
Managing Partner Nenad Marovac, who led the deal for DN Capital, cited the success of online retailers in the US baby care market, as well as the experience of the website's management team as the main motivators for the investment.
The website's management team comprises of company founders Konstantin Urban, Alexander Brand and Dagmer Mahnel, a logistics superviser and web professionals Oliver Zenglein and Carsten Jaensch.
