CDC CI takes majority stake in DGF
CDC Capital Investissement (CDC CI) was first out of the starting blocks on the 2009 buyout scene with the purchase of a majority stake in DGF, alongside the management team led by Jean-Luc Champaud. Societe Generale provided a debt package of less than EUR25m, which included refinancing of the original debt, the acquisition debt and revolving debt.
DGF is a producer and distributor of fresh and frozen food products for the bakery sector and has a turnover of EUR130m. The investment will be used to reinforce the distribution network, fund the company's expansion on an international scale and also support the growth of its frozen food division and develop its snack food division. The Chanteloup-les-Vignes-based company has 390 employees. (Page 31)
