
Crédit Agricole PE acquires Exclusive Networks
Crédit Agricole Private Equity has acquired a 69% stake in French software developer Exclusive Networks, for an undisclosed amount.
Crédit Agricole PE joins existing shareholders, including management, Socadif and Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners (EdRIP). The latter invested €1m of equity in 2007, in exchange for a minority stake in the business.
The new owner was attracted by Exclusive Networks' recent organic growth and acquistion strategy. It aims to triple the size of the business within five years.
Founded in 1995, Exclusive Networks ia distributor of B2B IT security software based in Lyon. It currently employs 127 people and posted a €82.6m turnover for 2009, €40m of which was generated in France.
