Keensight promotes Crochet to partner

Keensight Capital has promoted investment director Philippe Crochet to become the firm’s fourth partner.
Crochet joined Keensight as an investment director in 2008, when the business was a subsidiary of Rothschild under the name R Capital Management.
Last November, R Capital span out from Rothschild and became Keensight Capital. R Capital's three partners – Jean-Michel Beghin, Jérôme Pujol and Pierre Rémy – continued to lead the team.
Crochet currently sits on the boards of open source integration service provider Smile, file management software provider Oodrive and watchlist filtering software provider FircoSoft, among others.
Prior to joining R Capital, Crochet worked at Partech International where he specialised in the IT sector and was involved in 10 investments during his time there.
Crochet began his career at Nortel in 1998. He then worked at Algety Telecom, followed by US optical networking equipment manufacturer Corvis Corporation.
