Rothschild’s Grüter joins Keensight as associate
Jaana Grüter, an associate at Rothschild since 2008, has been appointed as investment associate by French GP Keensight Capital.
Grüter's move to Keensight will see her leave Rothschild after seven years at the group. In July 2008, she started out as an analyst in the firm's M&A team and was transferred to the Five Arrows Principal Investments team four years later.
Five Arrows, Rothschild's mid-market-focused investment arm, targets companies valued in the €50-500m region. Its latest vehicle FAPI II, which raised €493m at first close in March, deploys equity tickets in the €20-70m range.
Grüter is the second former Five Arrows professional to be recruited by Keensight in 2015. In May, the GP hired Guillaume Lefebvre, who had worked as a junior investment analyst at Rothschild's mid-cap division between May and December 2011.
According to unquote" data, Keensight's latest reported activity dates back to late July, when it supported the Cathay-led takeover of French multilingual digital service Datawords alongside BPI France and Capzanine.
