
Accent Equity acquires Autotube
Accent Equity has wholly acquired Autotube AB from Specma Hydraulic AB, a unit of Investment AB Latour.
Equity for the transaction has been provided by the Accent Equity 2008 fund. Autotube is based in Varberg and delivers automotive components for heavy vehicles and passenger cars. The products consist of tubes and tube systems for air and fluid distribution, as well as other special components. Autotube currently has a turnover of SEK 400m and 220 employees.
The investor is looking to support the company in consolidating its position in the market. Accent will draw from experience as an owner of subcontractors to the motor vehicle industry, with previous investments such as Gislaved Folie, Elmo Leather and Mont Blanc.
