Arle looking to sell Hilding Anders
Arle Capital Partners is considering a sale of Swedish mattress manufacturer Hilding Anders, according to reports.
Arle is said to have appointed Deutsche Bank to advise on the sale. The potential deal could be valued at up to SEK 10bn (€1.16bn).
Arle acquired Hilding Anders in December 2006 for SEK 9.2bn, with mezzanine provided by European Capital and HSBC. HSBC also provided senior debt. In November 2009, Arle and Pine Bridge Investments provided an additional SEK 500m, refinancing the mezzanine part of the company's capital structure.
Hilding Anders is a Malmö-based manufacturer of mattresses and beds. In 2011, the company recorded SEK 7.1bn in turnover. By 2015, it plans to have reached SEK 9bn in sales, with EBITDA of 15%.
Arle Capital Partners declined to comment.
