Polaris Private Equity’s Alliance+ in 7th bolt-on
Alliance+, a Nordic cleaning business backed by Polaris Private Equity, has completed its seventh bolt-on with the acquisition of Swedish firm Facila.
The acquisition of Facila is part of a strategy to build the Swedish business of Alliance+. In 2012, the company bolted on Sweden's largest privately owned cleaning services firm Miljöteamet.
The bolt-on was funded from the company's existing balance sheet.
Alliance+ was formed in 2009, when Polaris acquired two cleaning companies in Denmark, Kølving & Thaning and Alliance Clean & Care. The transaction, which included a senior debt package provided by Danish bank FIH and vendor notes, was completed through Polaris's third buyout fund, which closed above target on €365m in 2010.
Company
Founded in 2006, Facila is a cleaning services company based in Sweden. The company has 80 employees and is based in Norrköping.
Following the bolt-on, Alliance+ will have 2,125 employees and revenues of DKK 911m.
