
Industrifonden et al. back SEK 10m round for Foap
Industrifonden and Maxwell Ventures have taken part in a SEK 10m funding round for Sweden-based Foap, a mobile photography start-up, alongside a number of private investors including Magnus Wilkne.
The fresh funding will be used by Foap to pursue international expansion, with a particular focus on entering the US market. The company will also use the financing to continue the development of its product, as well as focus on sales.

Foap, which was founded in 2012, is headquartered in Malmö and currently employs approximately 10 staff. The company provides an application that allows iPhone users to sell their photographs taken on an iPhone by uploading them to Foap's online market.

Alexandra Bylund and David Los are the co-founders of Foap. Malin Carlström is an investment manager at Industrifonden.
