
Accent acquires Brenderup
Accent Equity Partners has agreed to acquire trailer business Brenderup from Thule Group alongside the company’s management.
Accent will wholly acquire Brenderup via its Accent Equity 2012 fund and the Brenderup Group newco. Besides Brenderup, the group's portfolio will also include Fogelsta, Ellebi, Easyline and Thule Rental.
Accent anticipates expanding the business both organically and via acquisitions. The company will focus on developing relationships with existing customers, expanding into new channels, growing its distribution and developing the product portfolio.

Based in Nørre Aaby, Brenderup is a provider of trailers for professional and semi-professional use and has manufacturing facilities in Jönköping, Sweden, and Wielen, Poland, as well as assembly operations in Norra Aaby in Denmark. It also has additional marketing and sales offices around Europe.
The company's key customers include European speciality retailers, DIY chains and gas stations. The new group has 500 employees and its turnover reached €65m in 2013.
