
Northzone, Industrifonden invest $20m in Fyndiq
Northzone and Industrifonden have invested $20m in a series-A funding round for Fyndiq, a Swedish online bargains marketplace.
Northzone led the round. It follows Fyndiq's seed round, in which the company raised $5m from private investors including former SAS CEO Jan Carlzon.
Fyndiq will use the capital to grow further in its home market of Sweden, as well as to expand into new international markets.
Company
Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Stockholm, Fyndiq is the operator on an online marketplace for bargain goods. The company claims to have pulled in more than 500,000 unique customers to date. It stocks 220,000 products.
Fyndiq employs 70 staff and generated $17m in revenues last year.
