Riverside invests in Mintra Trainingportal
Riverside has invested in Mintra Trainingportal, a Norway-based online learning resource for oil & gas businesses.
The investment will enable Mintra to expand, both internationally and within its existing markets. The company stated the deal will also provide increased oversight of global regulatory frameworks, enabling it to tailor its training accordingly.
Riverside said it was attracted to the deal by the flexibility of Mintra's training service.
The GP has a track record of backing training and education businesses, having made more than 25 such investments since its foundation in 1988, according to its website. Most recently Riverside acquired Alchemy, a US-based food and workplace safety training company, in January 2013 before bolting on Canada-based Catalyst Awareness of Guelph.

Nordea Bank provided finance to support the transaction.
