Procuritas acquires Daldata from Via Venture Partners
Swedish GP Procuritas Capital Investors has acquired Norwegian SME Daldata, which provides accounting software and cloud services, from Via Venture Partners.
The company's management will invest alongside Procuritas, which plans to grow the company organically as well as through add-on acquisitions.
Procuritas acquired its stake in Daldata through its Procuritas Capital Investors V fund, a €200m vehicle raised in 2012 for investments in Nordic small and mid-cap companies.
The transaction sees Via Venture Partners – the venture capital arm of Danish pension fund ATP – exit its majority stake in Daldata, which was acquired in July 2012.
Daldata's acquisition is the latest in a series of private equity and venture investments in Nordic enterprise software and services companies this year, including HgCapital-owned Visma's acquisition of E-conomic and SpeedLedger, Viking Venture's investment in House of Control, and Herkules Capital's buyout of Admincontrol.
Company
Founded in 1982, Daldata is a Tynset-based provider of accounting software and cloud services to the Norwegian accounting, agriculture and SME sectors.
The company claims to serve around 5,000 customers a year from its six offices across Norway. Daldata's turnover and EBITDA estimates for 2015 stand at NOK 163m and NOK 47.7m, respectively.
