
ChurchDesk raises $2m from Mangrove
Mangrove Capital Partners has led a $2m funding round for ChurchDesk, the Danish provider of a management software platform for churches.
The fresh capital will support ChurchDesk's expansion across Europe, where it currently has a presence in Denmark, the UK and Germany. Likewise, the funding will also go towards new hires and speeding up product development.
ChurchDesk will be targeting the DACH region, Benelux and other Nordic countries as key markets for expansion over the coming years.
Previous funding
Mangrove's $2m investment follows two seed rounds raised by ChurchDesk. It first received $750,000 in January 2012, followed by a further $500,000 in October 2015. Previous investors in the company include Danish startup accelerator Accelerace, as well as business angel and Just Eat founder Klaus Nyengaard.

Founded in 2010, ChurchDesk is a provider of a cloud-based administrative, management, content and engagement software aimed at churches.
The company is based in Copenhagen with a team of 24, and claims to have 10,000 users across Denmark, Germany and the UK.
