Ibersuizas closes in on Multiasistencia
Press reports suggest that the Madrid-based later stage investor Ibersuizas has signed heads of agreement over the buyout of Multiasistencia, Spain's leading provider of business process outsourcing services to the financial and corporate sector.
It is believed that the firm's owners are looking for a valuation of 8-9x EBITDA, which would value Multiasistencia at around €150-200m.
The business, which has examined the possibility of going public a number of times in recent years, is a specialist outsourced service provider, mainly for the insurance and banking sectors.
In particular, the company focuses on the provision of repair services that arise out of domestic insurance claims. In Spain Multiasistencia represents most of the companies on the Ibex 35; it also has a direct presence in the French and Portuguese markets.
