
AXA Private Equity acquires Rollon Group
AXA Private Equity has taken a 51.8% stake in Italian linear motion manufacturer Rollon Group, for an undisclosed amount.
Management took a 5% share, while Italian private equity house Consilium SGR also acquired a minority stake.
Founded in 1975, the Rollon Group manufactures medium precision linear rails (compact and telescopic) for application in many sectors such as railways, aeronautics, logistics, packaging, machine tools and medical equipment, supplied mainly to OEM customers. The company posted revenues of €30m for 2009.
