
AIFI appoints new president

The Italian private equity and venture capital association, AIFI, has appointed Innocenzo Cipolletta as president.
The new appointment replaces Giampio Bracchi after three terms as president.
Professor Cipolletta held the presidency of Italian business newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore from 2004-2007 and was CEO of Italian employers federation Confindustria from 1990-2000. He is currently president of the University of Trento. Cipolletta has written various academic papers and newspaper articles, and published a book on the global financial crisis.
