
P101 appoints Donvito as partner
Italian VC firm Programma 101 (P101) has appointed Giuseppe Donvito, former managing director at Futurimpresa, as a partner, unquote" has learned.
Donvito spent five years at Italian GP Futurimpresa, where he was managing director for venture capital and private equity investments.
He previously worked at Sofipa and 3i in Italy, as well as HSBC in London. He began his career in planning and strategy at Telecom Italia.
P101 is currently managing its maiden fund, which held a first close on €32m in December 2013. The vehicle backs technology companies in the digital sector, including e-commerce and digital media, with commitments of €250,000-4m.
Earlier this month, P101 led a €1.5m round for Cortilia, a Milan-based online local grocery marketplace.
