
B4 Investimenti buys 24% stake in Migeca
Italian private equity investor B4 Investimenti has completed its maiden investment with the acquisition of a 24% stake in catering group Migeca.
The GP has committed fresh capital to the firm and underwritten two loans, for a total of €4m.
The company intends to pursue the opening of 10 further points of sale in Italy and the UK over the next two years.
B4 Investimenti targets Italian SMEs looking to expand internationally. Companies in food, retail, design, technology, manufacturing and precision mechanics will be the focus of the firm's maiden fund B4 Holding I, which has so far raised €20m.

Founded in 2006 and based in Arquata Scrivia, Migeca is a catering group operating through the coffee house chain Ca'puccino. The firm has 17 points of sale, primarily in shopping centres and department stores. The company is present in Harrods, Westfield and King's Road and employs around 250 staff.
