
Argos Soditic buys Via Delle Perle
Argos Soditic has acquired a majority stake in womenswear firm Via Delle Perle.
The company's former owners and founders, Edmondo Tirelli, Nunziella Saltini and Glauco Verrini, will retain a minority stake in the business.
The GP intends to grow the firm internationally, open further stores and expand the firm's product offering to include accessories.
Company
Founded in 1984 and based in Carpi, Modena, Via Delle Perle designs, produces and distributes premium womenswear apparel, with a focus on knitwear. The firm has three collections, focused on daywear, gym kit and beach clothing.
In 2004, the firm entered the Russian market, following suit in China five years later. The company has around 300 stores in Italy and 350 outside of the country.
In 2012, the firm recorded sales totalling approximately €40m, 60% of which originated abroad.
