
Active Venture Partners leads series-A for Traity
Active Venture Partners has led a series-A investment round totaling $4.75m for Madrid-based Traity, an online reputation management firm.
Horizon Ventures, KRW Schindler Private Ventures, Bertelsmann Digital Media, Lanta Digital Ventures and several angel investors provided co-investment.
Active invested via Amerigo Innvierte Spain Ventures.
Traity will use the fresh funding to support product development and strengthen partnerships with online businesses.
Company
Founded in 2012 and based in Madrid, Traity measures users' reputation using their social media footprint. The company aims to create trust and reduce risk on social networks and collaboration economy websites such as buying and selling platforms, car-sharing sites or accommodation rental platforms. Traity analyses social profiles such as Twitter or Facebook, a user's history on sites such as eBay and a user's star rating in the reviews section of platforms such as Airbnb.
