
Palamon invests in Il Bisonte
Palamon Capital Partners has invested in Il Bisonte, an Italian luxury leather goods producer.
Following completion of the deal, the business will look to expand its distribution network across developed and developing markets.
The business has also appointed Giuseppe Bonfiglio, formerly CEO of Lambertson Truex and footwear brand Harry's of London, as CEO. The company's existing president, Wanny di Filippo, will remain in his role and continue to oversee the design process.
Palamon has a track record of investing in the speciality retail sector, having previously backed German designer fashion outlet Dress-for-less and UK online beauty retailer FeelUnique.

Il Bisonte, which was ounded in 1970 and is headquartered in Florence, produces leather goods, including handbags and accessories. The business has distribution networks across Europe the US and Asia, including a partnership with retailer Look.
