LDC buys Easynet from BSkyB
LDC has backed the £100m buyout of UK specialist telecommunications business Easynet Global Services from BSkyB.
Easynet designs and manages data networks providing hosting and video conferencing tools to large organisations globally, and also offers fibre services to smaller UK and Dutch companies. The transaction is subject to regulatory and employee approval.
The deal marks LDC's eighth investment this year, having deployed more than £220m to back companies such as Ascend, AIM Aviation and Antler.
