
ECI Partners acquires XLN in SBO
ECI Partners has acquired the telecommunications provider XLN Telecom in a secondary buyout from Zeus Private Equity.
A value for the deal has not been disclosed, however it has been reported that the enterprise value is in the region of £80m. The exit gives Zeus a 4.5x return on investment.
Zeus backed the management buyout of XLN in January 2008 with a £6.63m investment. The investor has supported add-on acquisitions for the company, such as OneBill Telecom in 2009. XLN recorded a turnover of £54m in the year ending March 2010.
