
Electra Partners appoints new chief investment partner
Private equity firm Electra Partners has appointed Alex Fortescue as chief investment partner.
Fortescue joins the company from Apax Partners, where he has been working for 10 years and was most recently global head of the retail and consumer group. Before that he was employed at OC&C Strategy for nine years.
At Electra, Fortescue will be working alongside managing partner Hugh Mumford and deputy managing partners David Symondson and Tim Syder. He will support the firm's deal origination and investment process.
