
LDC pumps £20m into restaurant fund
UK-based GP LDC has invested £20m in Hill Capital Partners LLP's new restaurants-focused vehicle.
Hill Capital is an investment and advisory firm set up by Paul Campbell, formerly CEO at The Clapham House Group PLC, a restaurant business behind some of the UK's best-known casual dining restaurants, including Gourmet Burger Kitchen and The Real Greek.
LDC's investment is earmarked for backing high-growth UK-based restaurant and bar businesses embarking on a roll-out expansion phase. Initial investments will range from £1-4m.
Hill Capital's extant portfolio companies include Tortilla Mexican Grill, Hawksmoor and Vinoteca.
