Altius appoints Pfister as partner

Private equity advisory firm Altius Associates has appointed Peter Pfister as partner and head of Asia-Pacific.
Pfister will be based in the Singapore office, focusing on increasing allocations from Asian investors and expanding the firm's business across the region. He will be reporting to head of investments Brad Young.
Prior to joining Altius, Pfister was head of the Asia-Pacific private equity division at Deutsche Bank for seven years. He led the Singapore-based team responsible for business development and investment decisions in the region. Prior to this, Pfister was the vice president of LGT Capital Partners in Switzerland.
Altius manages and advises approximately €18.6bn of investments and commitments for a group of institutional investors. Clients include institutional investors based in the US, Europe and Australia.
The firm recently confirmed that Young, COO Jenny Fenton, and head of investor relations Eric Warner will all be replacing CEO John Hess as co-CEOs.
