
Puma hires business development manager

Tax-efficient investment specialist Puma Investments has hired James Ramsay as business development manager.
Puma operates limited-life VCTs which provide funding to SMEs in Britain. Puma VCT 9 closed in May on £28.1m, making it the largest VCT raising in the 2012/2013 tax year.
Ramsay joins from Ingenious Media Investments, where he was a relationship manager focusing on EIS, VCT and BPR products. Prior to that he had been a financial planner at Strabens Hall and a private banker at Coutts.
Ramsay holds an MA in Medieval History from St. Andrews University. He holds Level I of the CFA, the CISI Investment Advice Diploma and the CII Financial Planning Certificate.
