Oakley passes €300m mark for new fund
Oakley Capital has raised more than €310m towards its second fund, Oakley Capital Private Equity II.
According to a recent SEC filing, Oakley has raised a total of $421,827,000 so far. However, it is not yet known how much the fund is targeting. Of this amount, $115.7m has been raised in slightly more than six weeks.
The firm's current fundraising effort seem to be overshadowing Oakley's previous road trip. The private equity house launched its debut fund in November 2007, and originally targeted €550m. After nearly two years, Oakley closed the fund on €350m in October 2009, according to unquote" data.
Oakley's placement agent business, Palmer Capital, is placing the fund.
