LDC's Trustmarque buys Nimbus
LDC portfolio company Trustmarque Solutions has bought Nimbus Technology Systems.
Trustmarque acquired Nimbus for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition will give Trustmarque a greater breadth and depth of expertise in cloud computing service delivery, as well as an expanded portfolio of services.
The deal is the first of a number of potential bolt-ons for Trustmarque as it looks to extend the range of software services it offers to customers.
Previous Funding
LDC backed the £30m management buyout of Trustmarque in 2006, with £10m of equity. Since then, it has supported the business in its growth, and says the acquisition of Nimbus is a major step towards consolidating the market.
Company
York-based Nimbus Technology Systems provides planning, consultancy and migration services for business customers. It also offers a range of cloud computing and software-as-a-services products to SME organisations.
