ISIS-backed Encore acquires West End Bookings
ISIS Equity Partners-owned Encore Tickets has acquired event tickets supplier West End Theatre Bookings from Holidaybreak for more than £10m.
The deal was been funded by RBS, the firm's management and ISIS. The acquisition of West End Bookings will increase Encore's scale and scope. Through the merger the companies will be able to connect to a larger number of tour operators and online retailers. The company plans to increase its global customer base by targeting domestic school groups, social group organisers and coach companies as well as retail and concierge outlets.
ISIS acquired Encore in April 2010 for an amount thought to be in excess of £20m.
