
Quilvest backs Tortilla with £3.5m
Quilvest Private Equity has acquired a large minority stake for £3.5m in Mexican food chain Tortilla.
The investor will be used to strengthen Tortilla's team and further pursue the firm's plan to expand significantly over the next five years.
Company
Tortilla is a food chain offering Mexican specialities with outlets across London. The business, which opened its first facility in October 2007, now runs seven restaurants and will open an eighth in early 2012 in Wimbledon. Currently Tortilla employs about 150 people.
