
Kelso Place backs Nicole Farhi
Kelso Place Asset Management has acquired a majority stake in fashion brand Nicole Farhi from OpenGate Capital.
The investor will provide financial, strategic and operational support to the management team to pursue further growth of the business. Following the transaction, OpenGate will continue to hold a minority stake in the company.

In 2010, OpenGate acquired Nicole Farhi from retail group French Connection.
Company
London-based Nicole Farhi is an international designer for stores and showrooms in Milan. The company was founded in 1982 and offers collections in womenswear, menswear, homewear and eyewear, distributed in department stores and boutiques worldwide. In the fiscal year ending January 2012 the company is expecting a turnover of £20m. The business employs around 170 people.
