
Atlas Venture leads $4M round for The Currency Cloud
Atlas Venture has joined existing investor Anthemis Group in a $4M series-A funding round for The Currency Cloud.
The deal follows an initial $2M round by venture capital firm Anthemis and others. The latest investment will allow the company to ramp up commercial activity and develop its product.

London-based The Currency Cloud specialises in online multi-currency payments for small and large businesses and offers a software as a service product.
It was established in 2009 and launched to the market in 2012. Since then, it has attracted more than 100 corporate customers and 20 platform partners. It currently employs 17 staff.
