
Highland leads €23.5m investment in AMCS
Highland Capital Partners Europe has led a €23.5m capital injection into AMCS Group.
The fresh capital will be used to pursue the company's international growth plans and increase its UK presence by creating 20 jobs.

The transaction was supported by existing backer Investec.
Company
AMCS develops end-to-end software for the recycling and waste management industry. Its Elemos software tracks waste by reading a chip inserted into bins and containers. It is currently used by 700 clients globally to provide waste management solutions to nine million homes.
UK customers include Sita UK and William Tracey Group in Scotland.
Headquartered in Limerick, Ireland, the company employs 135 people across the UK, Ireland, France, Sweden and the US. AMCS was established by Jimmy Martin and Austin Ryan in 2004. It reported a turnover of €18m in 2013.
