
RCapital invests in ITMsoil
Turnaround house RCapital has invested in instrumentation and monitoring specialist ITMsoil.
The funding will be used to drive the company's expansion.

Headquartered in Uckfield, East Sussex, ITMsoil manufactures and installs geotechnical and structural monitoring instruments used on civil engineering, mining and railway projects globally.
The company employs 100 people in the UK and sells its products and services through a network of distributors worldwide.
ITMsoil was created in 1962 and was originally called Soil Instruments, based in South London. It moved to Uckfeild in 1978 and underwent a management buyout in 1986. In 2002, the company was acquired by ITM, a company created through the management buyout of the instrumentation and monitoring division of Boart Longyear.
Notable projects ITMsoil has worked on include the tunnel link project in New York City and Crossrail in Europe.
