
Calculus Capital invests £5m in AOMI
Calculus Capital has made a £5m commitment to Active Operations Management International (AOMI), a UK-based software provider for workforce management.
The fresh capital will enable the firm to expand its international presence and develop its product.
The company has simultaneously announced the appointment of technology entrepreneur John O'Connell as chairman of its board. He will also invest in the company alongside Calculus.

Founded in 2005 and based in Reading, Active Operations Management International provides cloud-based workforce management software, for use in conjunction with training and coaching services. Clients are able to forecast workforce requirements in the medium- to long-term and manage staff levels.
The firm's 40,000 global users are spread across 37 countries and include Barclays, National Australia Bank and Banque Nationale du Canada. According to the firm, the software delivers productivity gains of more than 15% within months.
