Calculus backs IPV with £2.5m
Calculus Capital has injected £2.5m into IPV, a Cambridge-based multimedia content management system developer.
Calculus stated it was attracted to the deal by the fact that media organisations are increasingly looking to streamline their editorial and production processes in order to reach multiple platforms. The company will use the fresh capital to sustain its global expansion in Europe, North America and Australasia.
This marks the second investment in the space of a few days for Calculus, which previously backed Bedford-based Mologic with a £3m round. The investor is also currently seeking to raise up to £8m through a new share offer for the Calculus VCT it manages.
Company
Based in Cambridge, IPV develops a multimedia content management software used by the media industry. The company aims to simplify and more efficiently manage processes for managing and delivering media content through multiple platforms. Its clients include CNN and Sony Entertainment.
