GERMANY - Advent and Marcol acquire Median

Advent International and Marcol have jointly acquired independent rehabilitation care provider Median for an undisclosed sum.

MEDIAN, which is headquartered in Berlin, owns and operates 27 rehabilitation and acute clinics in Germany, which have a total of 6,000 beds in 19 locations. Median's main indications include neurology, orthopaedics, cardiology, psychosomatics, geriatrics, oncology, dermatology and pneumology. The first of its clinics was built in 1972.
