Apollo to list on NYSE in coming weeks
US fund Apollo is planning to list on NYSE in the coming weeks, according to media reports.
The firm reportedly intends to raise around $500m by selling 26 million shares, of which 69% would be newly issued. Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Bank of America Merrill Lynch will be co-arrangers on the transaction.
Apollo initially filed for an IPO in April 2008, before the downturn, and relaunched its plans last November. Apollo's listing would follow those of its peers including rival Blackstone, which went public in 2007, and KKR which listed on the NYSE in 2010.
