
CMS sets up shop in Turkey
Law firm CMS has opened an office in Istanbul, highlighting the ever-increasing dominance of the Turkish economy.
The new site will be led by CMS partners Döne Yalçin and John Fitzpatrick.
Yalçin was previously in charge of the Turkish desk at CMS's office in Vienna. He is also president of ATIS, the Austrian Turkish Businessmen and Industry Association, as well as vice-president of the Austrian Turkish Economic Forum.
Fitzpatrick is an international corporate partner as well as a partner in the firm's TMT industry sector practice group. His focus has been on emerging markets, especially Central and Eastern Europe, Romania and Turkey.
