
Terra Firma appoints MD in renewables team
Private equity house Terra Firma has hired Ingmar Wilhelm, the former executive VP at energy company Enel Green Power, as a financial managing director in its renewable energy investment team.
Terra Firma has made a push in the renewable energy sector in recent years – the firm stated its renewable energy infrastructure team has completed 18 transactions with an aggregate enterprise value of nearly $3.2bn in the past decade.
Prior to joining Terra Firma, Wilhelm was executive vice president and head of business development at clean energy company Enel. He had joined the company in 2003 and was at the time responsible for the origination and trading of power in Europe. Prior to this, Wilhelm worked with two utilities companies based in Germany and in France.
