UBS puts Reid in charge of secondaries
Following a string of departures, UBS has named Rodney Reid as its latest head of European private equity secondaries.
Reid was previously an executive director at UBS, based in New York. According to a spokesperson, he has already moved over to London and has taken up his new role with immediate effect.
The appointment follows the departure of former secondaries executives Nigel Dawn and Nicolas Lanel. The pair was poached by Evercore Partners in July to run the company's newly launched secondaries business.
Other UBS departures over the year include Sameer Shamsi, Dael Addeo, Francesca Paveru and Jasmine Hunet, all of which also joined Evercore.
