
Coller’s sixth fund hits $5.5bn final close
Coller Capital has held a final close for its sixth fund on $5.5bn, exceeding its original $5bn target.
Coller International Partners VI (CIP VI) is a secondaries fund managed by teams in London, New York and Hong Kong.
The funds team at O'Melveny & Myers advised Coller during the fundraising process. Ogier provided legal advice.
Investors
More than 200 LPs have made capital commitments to the fund. Pension plans account for 53% of contributions, while sovereign wealth funds and government entities contributed 15% and 10% came from insurance companies. The remaining capital has been provided by endowments and foundations, family offices and other asset managers.
Investments
CIP VI will make investments from $1m up to $1bn in secondary opportunities. More than $800m of the fund's capital has already been committed.
